Welcome to Word Alchemy, a word-building puzzle game developed by DC (Dhakate Codes) Apps. By accessing or using this application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Word Alchemy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to all users of the application, including visitors, registered users, and anonymous users.

2. Description of Service

Word Alchemy is a daily word puzzle game where players form words using letters from a main word. The game features daily challenges, leaderboards, score tracking, and streak functionality. The service is provided "as is" and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.

3. User Accounts and Authentication

You may use Word Alchemy as an anonymous user or by creating an account through Google authentication. When you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate information when submitting scores
• Not sharing your account with others

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use Word Alchemy in a lawful and respectful manner. You agree not to:

• Attempt to manipulate scores, leaderboards, or game mechanics through automated means, scripts, or other unauthorized methods
• Submit false, misleading, or inappropriate display names
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers connected to the service
• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users

5. Game Rules and Scoring

Word Alchemy operates under specific game rules:

• Words must be formed using only the letters from the daily main word
• Words must be at least 2 letters long
• Words must be valid English words as verified by our dictionary validation system
• You cannot submit the main word itself
• Each word can only be submitted once per game session
• Scores are calculated based on word length and streak bonuses (for logged-in users)

We reserve the right to adjust scoring algorithms, validate words using our dictionary sources, and remove invalid or inappropriate submissions from leaderboards.

6. Leaderboards and Competition

Leaderboards display daily and all-time high scores. By submitting your score, you consent to having your display name and score publicly visible on the leaderboard. We reserve the right to:

• Remove scores that violate these terms
• Reset leaderboards if technical issues occur
• Modify leaderboard rankings and display methods
• Investigate and remove suspicious or fraudulent scores

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Word Alchemy, including but not limited to the game design, code, graphics, text, and software, are owned by DC (Dhakate Codes) Apps and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the service without explicit written permission.

Word definitions and meanings displayed in the game may be sourced from third-party dictionary services and are used for educational and entertainment purposes.

8. User-Generated Content

When you submit scores, display names, or other content to Word Alchemy, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the service, including on leaderboards and in promotional materials. You represent that you have the right to grant this license and that your content does not violate any third-party rights.

9. Disclaimers

Word Alchemy is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• All words will be correctly validated or that the dictionary is complete
• Results from the service will meet your expectations
• Defects will be corrected

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DC (Dhakate Codes) Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of Word Alchemy.

11. Data and Privacy

Your use of Word Alchemy is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy. We collect minimal data (display names and scores) for leaderboard functionality and do not share this data with third parties.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Word Alchemy after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Word Alchemy immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Use or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
